Thank you for using Beauty By Miss Hollie’s Makeup Artist and Hairstyling services. We would like you to please read all our terms and conditions so that you are full aware of our rights when booking your makeup service. Using this website ( www.beautybymisshollie.com.au ) and booking with us signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions.
All contracts and dealings between Beauty By Miss Hollie (ABN 33 130 861 807) and each of its subsidiaries, affiliates, associated companies, and related entities and assigns Beauty By Miss Hollie and any person relating to any goods or services provided and supplied by Beauty By Miss Hollie to the Customer through the website www.beautybymisshollie.com.au are subject to the terms and conditions of trade set out below.
By using the Website, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms, as may be amended by Beauty By Miss Hollie at any time.
Beauty By Miss Hollie has the right to remove or vary these Terms at any time without notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of any changes made to these Terms and by continuing to use and visit the Website the Customer agrees to be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Beauty By Miss Hollie reserves the right to withdraw the Services without notice and will NOT be liable (if for any reason) the Website is unavailable during any period.

 
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to the makeup artistry and hairstyling services provided by Beauty By Miss Hollie to you. Upon booking a makeup application or hairstyling with Hollie, and her affiliates, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 
MAKING A BOOKING
Bookings can be made up to a day before the event if Hollie is available. Bookings are fully secure upon the email confirmation and receipt of a deposit.

 
WEDDING MAKEUP BOOKINGS
All wedding bookings require an upfront payment of the Bridal Trial. Other related bookings require a 50% deposit to secure a booking. The booking is not confirmed until the 50% deposit has been received. This is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Thereafter, the balance of the booking must be paid before the date of the booking. Hollie requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel/reschedule your booking, otherwise the balance of your booking will need to be paid in full.

 
MAKEUP AND HAIR BOOKINGS
All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure a booking. The booking is not confirmed until the 50% deposit has been received. This is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Thereafter, the balance of the booking must be paid on the date of the booking or as otherwise organised with Hollie. Hollie requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel/reschedule your booking, otherwise the balance of your booking will need to be paid in full.

All prices include false lash application. The styles are subject to change due to stock depending on our suppliers. There is no discount if false lashes are not applied. There is also no discount for partial services (eyes only, base and lips only, etc). Please note that depending on your bridal party/client size, a secondary makeup artist or if the booking requires, hairstylist or beauty therapist will incur a surcharge. Please discuss pricing with Beauty By Miss Hollie directly.

 
PAYMENT
An invoice will be sent to you outlining the pricing of your booking in accordance to the dates in which they are due by. Please read this carefully in case any changes need to be made. Once a deposit has been received, a confirmation and receipt will be sent via email and your booking will be secured. The balance stated on the invoice is to be finalised the week of your booking, but no later than the day before the booking. Please see payment options under SERVICES.

 
CHANGED/CANCELLED BOOKINGS
To secure your booking, payment the 50% deposit of the service is required in full and is non-refundable. Prior notice must be given if you wish to cancel part of, or reschedule, an appointment. Please notify Hollie as soon as possible. At the time, we will reschedule your booking or refund the balance of your booking if you have already paid. If not notified with a minimum of 48 hours, the balance of your booking will need to be paid in full as alternative bookings may have been made instead of accommodating your trial/event.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking following a trial, without a refund of the deposit, in circumstances where there is a mismatch in styles, approach, expectations and/or the client is uncooperative, not open to suggestions or makes any member of our team feel uncomfortable. It is advisable that you familiarize yourself with our work portfolio and ensure you are confident our capabilities and style are appropriate before securing a booking. Beauty By Miss Hollie strives to ensure that all participants are happy with the results of a trial before leaving. Refunds, retrials, or cancellations without charges are solely at our discretion.

All contact, whether it be general inquiries or changes to a booking, must be from the client whose details are on the invoice only. Changes to your booking by adding another person onto your original booking can only be accepted if time/resources allow on your wedding day. Beauty By Miss Hollie will require prior notice and payment due at the specified time. Adding extra people on the day, without prior warning, may jeopardize the quality of our work or delay the event. You are required to give a minimum of 2 months notice should you wish to reduce numbers or services booked on your wedding day. After such time the full amount for services cancelled will still be payable. All payments are the responsibility of the client invoiced. Should no payment be received we will proceed with legal action to recover losses.

In the unlikely event that we cannot attend on the day of your wedding due to unforeseen and unfortunate events or circumstances, all payments will be immediately refunded (including deposit and trial fees). We will work with you to find an alternative reputable stylist/artist or salon to cater for your requirements. Any such booking will remain solely the responsibility of the client invoiced. If Hollie is unable to attend on the day, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, she will immediately try to find an alternative freelance stylist/artist to stand in. If this is not possible we will ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or will refund services, which are forfeited in part, or altogether, as a result. No further compensation will be offered.

If a member of our team is made to feel uncomfortable in anyway, or mistreated, or if anyone becomes abusive/violent or displays any offensive behavior, we have the right to cancel the contract without refund.

 
EVENT OF DELAYS
If we experience unforeseen delays which are out of our control refunds will not be given in the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result and no compensation will be offered if we overrun. If you are aware of factors, which could delay or hinder our journey, such as diversions, road closures, speed restrictions, match days, market days, satnav issues etc. please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. No refund or compensation will be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party. A minimum of 45 minutes will be allocated for hair or makeup application per person. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may pose as a challenge in any way, they are encouraged to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

 
CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
You must ensure that our team will be working in a suitable environment with adequate lighting, electricity points, and hand washing facilities. Please ensure every member of your party is aware of timing on the day and that they need to be, and remain, available.

If you have any medical conditions, sensitivities or allergies of any kind, you must advise prior to your service. If no known allergies are stated we cannot be held liable for any reactions, injuries, losses, damage, costs, claims and actions that may occur to you or any other member of your party. Upon these Terms and Conditions, you agree that Beauty By Miss Hollie is not liable for, and will indemnify you from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, loss, and causes of action relating to personal injury or death arising directly or indirectly as a result of your failure to disclose information relating to medical conditions. Contraindications/ medical conditions include but are not limited to the following; herpes simplex, any open/weeping wounds or sores, warts, severe or cystic acne, cuts, abrasions, burns, bruising, broken bones, conjunctivitis, dental work, stye, eczema, soriasis, photosensitivity.

Prior to having makeup applied or hair styled please ensure you and your party are prepared, to avoid leaving the chair whilst we are working. Please ensure teeth are cleaned, you have been to the toilet and contact lenses are applied (if applicable), before sitting in the chair. Also make sure you are make-up free, (we will prep your skin.)

Time is always of the essence, so please ensure hair is clean, completely air dried, and free from product. We advise washing the night before and avoiding heavy conditioners. If any of your bridal party has wet hair they will be expected to dry it thoroughly before we start.
Please do not eat or speak on your mobile phone during makeup application or hairstyling. Please do not sit children/babies on your lap whilst having your hair styled or make-up applied. For their own safety please ensure that children are kept away from our styling tools and products at all times. Styling irons are extremely hot, and hazardous, and we will not be held responsible if a child is injured as a result of the parent/carer not being present.
Any extra individuals not included in booking are not to at any time touch any products or brushes belonging to the artists’ kit. For OH&S reasons a surcharge to replace items that’s hygiene may have been compromised will be owed by the original enquiry.

 
TRAVEL/PARKING
Travel fees are applicable dependent upon the location of the booking. Please advise on parking instructions for location. More than 30km from Northcote will attract a minimum of $30. Where parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when services are being conducted.
If the travel time is more than 3 hours drive each way, overnight accommodation may be a required. The cost of accommodation is to be covered by the client. International bookings require that flights/insurance and accommodation to be paid for in full by the client.
A quotation will be provided to you upon your request. This will also be outlined in your invoice.

 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Beauty By Miss Hollie requires basic information including your name, billing address, contact phone number, email and payment method upon making a booking. If you choose to withhold requested personal information, Beauty By Miss Hollie may not be able to provide you with the customer service you require that depends on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law.

 
PHOTOGRAPHS/FILM COPYRIGHT
Beauty By Miss Hollie reserves the right to take photographic or filming records of any of her makeup applications or hairstyling sessions, and may use them for promotional and/or commercial purposed with your written consent.

It is imperative that we continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate our work to future prospective brides. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for us to use your images for marketing purposes. We do not show images from trials until after the wedding day and you will not be tagged in any such image on social networking sites, but are welcome to tag yourself. Any third party professional or commercial use of photography or videography including our team in action must make reference to Beauty By Miss Hollie. Failure to adhere to these requirements without prior written consent may result in legal proceedings.
